I have been a therapist for more than 35 years. I have loved the work that I do, so I haven't retired. Recently I wrote a book "Putting Social Anxiety in Your Rearview Mirror," because so many of the people coming for counseling/coaching had anxiety. I thought that it would be helpful to have a treatment plan that they could work through at their own pace, although help from a professional is good too!
I currently only do telemedicine, actually finding it to be an easy way for people to connect without leaving their homes.
What I have learned over the years is that people who come for counseling/coaching, want a better life than they are currently living, and that they are very brave. It takes courage to talk to a stranger about your very personal life.
I have flexible hours and work on weekends as well, but never later than 5:00. Looking forward to meeting you.
