Adults experiencing a psychiatric crisis can avoid or shorten a psychiatric hospital stay by recovering in a beautiful community based home with views of Balboa Park or one of our other regionally located crisis residential programs in and around San Diego. Our programs use the evidence-based Short Term Acute Residential Treatment model known as START to provide crisis residential services. The warm, homelike environment fosters hope and recovery. Our staff include psychiatrists, nurses, clinical psychologists, social workers, and counselors who are experts in START services.
