Step 1: CALL – An admissions representative will call to confidentially collect any information necessary for admittance into treatment – the date of entering treatment will be determined by the client. Step 2: ORIENTATION – Upon arrival, an orientation and preliminary evaluation will be made to lay the foundation for a treatment plan and schedule. Step 3: EVALUATION – A full psychological evaluation will be given to assist in mapping out a plan for long-term care and sobriety.
Insurance and Payment Information
As part of our dedication to our clients, we have affordable self-pay rates and also accept most private insurance plans that have mental health, behavioral health or substance abuse coverage. We are in network with several insurance companies and accept most PPOs. If you are not sure if you have insurance coverage for treatment or need more information about paying for treatment, please call us.
What is the Admissions Procedure Like?
Realizing that you need help dealing with mental health issues or substance abuse can feel overwhelming. Our admissions procedure is straightforward and easy to understand so that you can feel at ease with the process and prepare mentally and physically for treatment. We want to answer all of your questions prior to your arrival so that you know what to expect in recovery.
During the admissions process, treatment costs and care options will be explained to you. Thankfully there are several ways that you can pay for your treatment including via insurance. Under the Affordable Care Act, health insurance companies now cover mental health and addiction treatment in part or in full depending on the type of insurance you have.
Substance Abuse Admissions Process
Making the decision to enter treatment is the first step in achieving sobriety. At Destination Hope, our admissions counselors will determine the treatment option that will work best for you. For many, the first step will be detoxification to be free of any drugs or alcohol before entering the addiction treatment program. Though Destination Hope does not offer a detox program on-site, we can connect you with a partner medical detox facility to oversee the withdrawal process and ensure is as comfortable as possible.
The process of detoxification can be accomplished safely with medical supervision, and the withdrawal period can be shortened with the appropriate use of certain medications that minimize discomfort. The use of these medications can help you begin the treatment program more quickly and in better physical condition.
After completing the detoxification process, you are ready to be admitted to the treatment center. The center will let you know what to bring with you and what to expect during treatment so that you’ll be ready to start immediately when you arrive. Our treatment center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year so you can come any time for the recovery assistance you need.
Mental Health Admissions Process
An assessment time will be set up once you contact the treatment center. Prior to the assessment, you will have a chance to provide the admissions staff with background information about yourself and your struggles. During your assessment, you’ll meet with an experienced mental health professional to determine the level of care you need and what type of treatment would be most beneficial to you. |
