Facility Description: |
Oasis Behavioral Health provides a broad scope of comprehensive treatment services to adolescents ages 11 to 17 and adults ages 18 and above whose lives have been disrupted by a variety of mental and behavioral health disorders. Adolescents may receive acute inpatient, residential, and intensive outpatient (IOP) services through Oasis Behavioral Health, as well as academic instruction. Adults may receive care at the acute inpatient and intensive outpatient levels. Oasis personnel also provide community-based suicide prevention training through a partnership with The Jason Foundation.
Established in 1987, Oasis Behavioral Health currently provides care at two locations, one in Chandler, Arizona, and one in Casa Grande, Arizona. All care at Oasis Behavioral Health is personalized according to the specific needs and goals of each patient, and is provided by multidisciplinary teams of experienced professionals, including a psychiatrist, nurses, masters-level therapists, licensed therapists, experiential therapists, accredited special education teachers, and other professionals as needed. Oasis Behavioral Health features a low professional-to-patient ratio to ensure that all adolescents and adults receive considerable personal attention and focused care.
Depending upon each patient’s needs and the level at which he or she is receiving treatment, common elements of care at Oasis Behavioral Health include individual, group, family, and experiential therapy. Adolescents may also receive academic instruction and educational support services. Also, patients whose symptoms may be eased via the inclusion of certain prescription medications in their individualized treatment plans may also receive medication management services throughout their time in treatment at Oasis Behavioral Health.
Oasis Behavioral Health works diligently to incorporate parents/guardians of adolescent patients into the treatment process to the greatest degree that is both possible and clinically appropriate. Parents/guardians will receive regular updates on their child’s progress throughout the young person’s time in care, and will have the opportunity to participate in family therapy sessions and other family-based services to ensure that they are best prepared to support their son or daughter during and after treatment. Oasis Behavioral Health also offers family therapy services to the loved ones of adult patients.
Oasis Behavioral Health also provides thorough discharge planning services to ensure that all who complete care have a detailed plan that identifies the professional referrals and other resources that will support long-term recovery and lifelong healing.

Admissions Information: |
Oasis Behavioral Health is prepared to accept referral calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Oasis accepts self-referrals as well as referrals from parents/guardians, mental health professionals, medical professionals, and a host of other community-based sources. During the initial phone contact, the admissions professional will collect information that will allow him or her to make a preliminary assessment on Oasis’s ability to provide the programming that best fits the prospective patient’s needs and goals. The admissions professional will consult with the admitting psychiatrist and other members of the Oasis clinical team as necessary to confirm admissions eligibility, and can also work with insurance providers to confirm benefits and get authorization for care. |
