I provide individual and couples therapy, helping people resolve issues ranging from anxiety and depression, to PTSD and relationship problems. With over 20 years experience, I’m comfortable working with just about any unique challenge you might be struggling with.
Though my work draws from many different treatment approaches let me mention three important points. I'm certified as an Imago Relationship therapist. I help couples communicate between themselves comfortably, successfully, and lovingly, so that each is able to hear the other and move forward positively. I've also been trained in EMDR to level II. It is a superb and effective way of addressing and resolving anxiety, especially when there has been trauma. Lastly, I have found that poor self-esteem is core to many of the difficulties we experience. And so I firmly believe that to deal with life's challenges, we are best prepared by having a positive self esteem, by feeling good about who we are. It is my job to understand you, to accept you, and to help you resolve or cope with your unique challenges to reach your goals.
