Practice Description: |
As a documentary filmmaker turned therapist, storytelling is at the heart of my therapy practice. I specialize in Narrative Therapy (NT), Play Therapy, Addictions Counseling (LAC-I), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Gottman Method for couples to help my clients write their next chapter. I work with a wide variety of clients (Adults, Teens, Children, and Couples) on a range of issues such as • Life Transitions • Addiction • Trauma • ADHD • Relationship Issues • Family Conflict • Parenting • Couples Counseling • OCD • Social Anxiety • Financial Instability • Sex and Kink • LGBTQIA+ issues • DHS-related cases • and more.
My approach is deeply collaborative and often creative. I love using tools like my trusty whiteboard to visualize the scenarios you're navigating and other visual aids to uncover the themes, values, and motivations that drive you. I offer tools and language to help with communication, problem solving, emotional regulation, and self-compassion.
If you’re ready to explore your story and embrace your own creative potential, I’m here to walk alongside you. Let’s embark on this journey together and discover the narrative that leads to a more fulfilling and authentic life. I offer in-person services in Downtown Denver and Lakewood, as well as virtual therapy. Reach out for a free 15 minute consultation.

Additional Comments: |
There is no one-size-fits-all for therapy. In our initial session, we will start telling your story. We'll come together on some treatment goals in our second session. We'll weave through the dilemmas of the week, stories from childhood, and larger themes that carry through both. We'll reflect on tools and mindsets to tackle tomorrow with confidence, and allow space to just "be." |
