Practice Description: |
I enjoy helping people achieve their goals and aspirations. I offer a safe, caring place where you -- individually or as part of a couple -- can explore inner experiences, navigate problems, and create solutions that can expand your potential for wellness, wholeness, and growth. You are more than a set of symptoms or problems, and I work to address all of your needs using integrative and holistic therapies that honor the mind-body connection and its impact on well-being, happiness and health. I work with you to teach skills that will help you develop inner resources so you can successfully cope with life. I use an assortment of treatment approaches, applying methods that best meet your needs.
In relationship counseling, couples counseling and marriage therapy, I support you in developing better communication skills and effective conflict management strategies. I teach you the relationship building blocks to use that help you generate intimacy, satisfaction, respect, understanding, affection, appreciation, and the mutual support that is so important for reaching your personal goals.
When our behaviors, thoughts, emotions, and bodies are integrated, they become resources that promote healthy lifestyles, habits, and choices. My expertise in mindfulness and body-mind approaches can help you to see the connection between problems, stresses and health concerns. I am a clinical psychologist and counselor with over 27 years of experience in dealing with many concerns, and have published research and led classes in psychoeducation, self-development, intimacy, and other issues.
