I've been practicing therapy for 13 years throughout the greater Seattle area. As a therapist, I'm passionate about helping people get 'unstuck' from unhelpful thought, emotion, and behavioral patterns. As an LMFT, I come from a systems perspective which sees people within their greater contexts. I work with clients from a strengths based perspective and focus on creating a positive environment both in daily life and internally.
I work primarily with individuals and families dealing with grief, anxiety, and trauma. This includes dealing with acute/chronic illness, life transitions, and reproductive milestones such as pregnancy loss, infertility, and menopause. I primarily utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Feminist Theory to help move my clients into lives that they enjoy. I foster a collaborative therapy environment and invite feedback regarding our work together.
