I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York, Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey, National Certified Counselor, and Distance Certified Counselor who works with individual adult clients and couples. As a wellness advocate, I utilize integrated evidence based practices to support clients with exploring their lives in ways that aim to produce improved personal mental and emotional health. I welcome those who are working through issues related to feeling anxious or depressed or stressed out, as well as concerns related to work/career, cultural/multicultural, life transitions, assertiveness, anger management.
I am CBT oriented and utilize an integrated therapeutic approach which involves selecting the techniques from different therapeutic orientations best suited to a client's particular problem and best suited to assist couple's with challenging communication dynamics. I also provide guided meditation sessions per request.
I engage those from diverse backgrounds who seek assistance with personal development, exploring alternative solutions to problems, and increasing adaptive life skills through supportive counseling, dynamic educational and creative methods, conflict resolution and improvement in communication style.
