I am an experienced, highly-trained psychologist in private practice for over 40 years. I have doctoral and postdoctoral training in a variety of areas pertaining to the issues that trouble both adults and children, including, for adults, depression, anxiety and relationships problems, and, regarding children, oppositionalism, defiance and attention deficit disorder. I have advanced training in the treatment of OCD (for both adults and children) through the International OCD Foundation, and I am a certified sex therapist. I also write self-help books for adults and children, including a book addressing issues for singles who, and children's picture books and parent guides in the areas of childhood oppositionalism, bedtime fears and encopresis.
