Practice Description: |
“I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.” – Brene Brown
Delaney Cash believes this quote beautifully depicts the art and science of therapy. She is committed to nurturing a therapeutic relationship that is founded on acceptance, safety, and trust. Delaney will meet you exactly where you are, walking alongside you one step at a time. She wants you to know you are worthy of finding and experiencing freedom from within. Delaney will speak kind truths and push you with gentle challenges, providing you with resources to create sustainable change.
Delaney Cash is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Colorado and Missouri. She earned her Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Arkansas, and her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Missouri Southern State University in her hometown of Joplin, Missouri. Delaney completed both her undergraduate and graduate-level practicums at a Child Advocacy Center. Upon graduating, she accepted a position there as a Child Trauma Therapist, where she walked alongside children and families as they navigate life after trauma and abuse.
Delaney assists clients with a strengths-based approach, utilizing techniques from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Additionally, Delaney has completed post-graduate training in play therapy and sand tray therapy.
When not at Foundations, Delaney enjoys spending time with loved ones, time in the mountains, and reading. She loves random facts, dad jokes, puzzles, and all things birthday cake flavored.
