I have nearly 25 years of experience providing individual, family, and couples therapy to people of all ages and diagnoses. My areas of specialty include adult/adolescent Anxiety, Depression, Anger Management, Bipolar Disorder, and Addiction (all types). In addition, I work well with families whose children struggle with emotional and behavioral problems, including diagnoses of ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder. With each of these challenges, therapy can provide you strategies for overcoming obstacles that are hard to manage alone, and finding a therapist that is "the right fit" is crucial.
The most vital element of a good therapeutic fit is trust – trust that I understand and truly “get” what you are going through, that I believe your feelings are valid, and that I will ensure the highest level of comfort for you to gradually open up to a new perspective. Only when feeling this strong sense of connection can true healing begin to take place.
