Generously flexible & capable of working within clients' specific needs, Dr. Joel has been awarded specialist credentials that include Diplomate and Fellow diplomas from The American Board of Professional Psychology in Clinical Psychology; Board Certification from The New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis; and Board Certification in Clinical Child/School Psychology from the NYC Board of Education and NYS Department of Education.
Dedicated to meeting the highest standards of professional practice, Dr. Joel has earned four advanced-university degrees in clinical psychology, psychoanalysis and clinical child psychology all with separate full internships.
For over 40 years, Joel has been a respected and highly skilled specialist in the New York psychological community.
