I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 10 years of experience providing therapy to adults and teens. As a general practitioner, I work with clients on a broad range of issues and challenges; however, I am most focused on treating anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma. I am trained in several different therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
I will often draw upon the strengths of several different approaches when working with an individual to best assist them, never limiting the work to one specific modality.
Currently I provide virtual therapy through a secure video platform that makes meeting convenient and flexible for clients. I’m able to accept Aetna, Highmark, Meritain Health, and BlueCross BlueShield Federal Employment Plans (fepblue). I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to anyone interested in learning more about my approach and the therapeutic process. | Insurance and Billing Details: |
I accept all Aetna and Highmark insurance plans for Pennsylvania residents. I’m also an in-network provider for Meritain Health plans and BlueCross BlueShield Federal Employment Plans (fepblue).
For all other insurances I am considered an out-of-network provider, and I can provide a superbill for clients to submit for possible reimbursement for out-of-network coverage.I always encourage clients to first contact their insurance providers to determine if they offer coverage for out-of-network providers. |
