Practice Description: |
The past few years have increased stress and brought about unexpected crises in nearly everyone's life. Some of these struggles have emerged due to losses of loved ones and friends from prolonged illness or death; in relationships that have become strained due to ongoing conflicts at home, at work, and/or in our larger communities; and the strain of juggling excessive demands on our time and resources during the pandemic. If it feels like things are falling apart, it is helpful to know two things: 1) you are not alone in feeling fatigued and overwhelmed, and 2) there is support available to help you regain a better sense of stability and improve your functioning day to day. No matter what your struggle is, we will work together to understand the source of your problems and develop practical strategies to resolve them. In your first session, we will begin to answer the question, "What would help look like right now?" and help you cultivate and develop tools you may not even know you had within your reach. I offer a FREE initial consultation to see if we would be a good fit for working together.
Frequently, our emotional challenges occur by events we cannot control: accidents, illness, unexpected death, being laid off, or other traumatic experiences. Other times, important relationships can cause you pain, and could benefit from more trust, intimacy, and clearer communication. Perhaps you have new questions about your career goals, spiritual issues, and other personal struggles. Therapy can be a safe place to explore your feelings and better understand your decision-making processes, and to help you take concrete steps to rebuilding a life that brings more fulfillment and hopefulness.
The first step in asking for help is the hardest, but I look forward to hearing from you and seeing if our work together would benefit your needs.
