Change is hard! Pursuing counseling takes bravery and resolve. I believe this is an important first step in a major life transition that will help you change your life for the better.
With a healthy balance of warm compassion, skilled support, and gentle confrontation, I will help you find your best life. I encourage your active participation in determining an action plan to achieve results. I focus on empowering you to make positive life changes while providing a comfortable, nonjudgmental, and supportive atmosphere.
I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, adolescents and families. I provide a variety of counseling services and I will work closely with medical providers, school counselors, judicial services, and other therapists to coordinate your care.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. I hold a Masters of Arts in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I am a member of my profession’s national honor society: Chi Sigma Iota. In addition, I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in from New York University.
I have a Primary Certification in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) after studying directly with Dr. Albert Ellis. I am a Certified Prepare/Enrich marriage counselor, I have received facilitation training for divorce recovery workshops based on the seminal work of Dr. Bruce Fisher and Dr. Robert Alberti, “Rebuilding: When Your Relationship Ends,” and I have also received specialized training in treating sexual addiction from Dr. Patrick Carnes.
When I'm not pursing my passion of offering exceptional counseling services, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two beautiful children.
