| Due to the COVID-19 I'm offering telehealth services for psychotherapy. I am currently using either phone or video sessions to see clients. I have found this to be a very effective way of doing therapy. Under certain circumstances I will let someone come into my office to see me. |

I have 35 years of experience helping people to find a way to live a richer and more satisfying life. Therapy is about empowering individuals and coming face-to-face with adversities. Clients are helped to explore past experiences that impact current emotions and behaviors. In order to change you need to resolve internal conflicts that lead to emotional distress, unwanted behaviors and physical symptoms. I help to create a safe place where you can express whatever is on your mind and we can think together about your feelings and thoughts thus leading to a greater understanding of self.
I believe that the relationship between a therapist and client is central to effectively processing issues and achieving desired changes. I build this alliance through compassionate listening, observation of behaviors, and challenging clients in a manner that fits for them.
In addition to working with adults, adolescents, couples, and families I am available for clinical consultation to other therapist. A free consultation is offered for anyone interested in my services, and I welcome referrals.
