Practice Description: |
Seeking support is a sign of resilience and courage, and I'm so glad you're here. I foster a warm and engaging therapeutic space, and I'm here to walk beside you in your journey toward emotional wellness.
I specialize in working with adults, young adults, and college/grad students with anxiety disorders, OCD, perfectionism, skin picking, trauma, relational issues, and depression. My ultimate goal in therapy is to support clients in taking back the power from their distress in order to ultimately live more fulfilling lives. In this process, I aim to help clients explore and minimize the impact of the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are associated with distress and keep you “stuck.”
I hold masters and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology and have experience providing therapy in settings including university counseling, community mental health, and private practice. My approach is active, engaging, and integrative, including cognitive, relational, and behavioral techniques. I also provide specialized, evidence-based treatments including EMDR and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
If you are interested in working together or want to learn more about my approach, please reach out! Further, my 35 pound rescue dog joins sessions one day per week; let me know if animal assisted intervention interests you!
