I understand that it takes courage to seek therapy. I see therapy as a vehicle for transformation on a non linear, non judgmental path. My goal is to create a comforting and warm experience that gives you the space to share your unique story. My practice is influenced from narrative, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy approaches.
I draw on my lived experience experience as a bi-cultural, Egyptian, first-generation immigrant woman. I take special focus in recognizing the narratives and lenses through we see ourselves and the world. This encourages me to listen with empathy, collaboratively looking with you for ways to heal. My priority is to create a warm, collaborative, safe, flexible, and non-judgmental space.
It takes courage to seek therapy and it’s my privilege to walk alongside you. I hope to foster awareness, healing, and connection with your authentic self while still leaving room for creativity and even play.
