Practice Description: |
You may be experiencing a lot of anxiety and despair right now. This is a very hard time to live in. Know that the current stresses in the world and in our personal lives are at an all-time high. Many people are seeking extra support, so know that you are in good company, You may feel hesitant about asking for help, and that's normal. The most important thing is that you're doing something about it. You'll be glad you did.
With 30 years of experience in helping people who suffer from the most difficult problems, I treat complex trauma and abuse, dissociative disorders, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. Check out my website at www.traumatherapyboulder.com for self-tests, links, and further information on all of these issues.
I work primarily with adults, families, and seniors on problems that prevent living a happy life to its fullest. Often clinical hypnosis and EMDR are integrated into the therapy with clients who are interested in shortening treatment time and improving treatment results.
I have two master's degrees, a clinical license in two states, NASW board certification in clinical social work, ASCH certification in clinical hypnosis, membership in the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, and a career of personal experience in social services.

Additional Comments: |
You may feel hesitant or embarrassed to ask for help. Most people are. Keep in mind that all of us go through times when we need emotional support from a professional. Those of us who get that support end up living happier lives. |
