Practice Description: |
My practice philosophy is that we will form a team and work closely together in the task designed to enable you to reach your goals. We will accomplish this by discussing your past and your belief systems and will rely on strengths to identify and confront negative patterns that have prevented you from achieving your optimal potential.
As a motivated and committed team, we will work together to increase your ability to problem-solve and cope with daily and life stressors. As your goals change, so will the treatment plan. You are not in this alone.
I have a reputation for being a very involved therapist with an interactive approach. My specialties are in treating clients with depression, anxiety, grief, and self-esteem and relationship issues. I have an extensive history of working with varied clients, relationships and issues in inpatient and outpatient settings along with 20+ years in private practice.
I am a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work and am licensed in FL, NJ, and NY. I worked closely with Project Liberty, NYC in 2001 with those affected by the attacks on the World Trade Center. I became certified in Critical Incident Stress Management as a result. I appeared on CNN as an expert at the closing of Ground Zero.
