Practice Description: |
As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist counseling in the State of Florida, Richard Gonzalez, MSW, LCSW works with families and individuals. Richard Gonzalez graduated with a Master's in Clinical Social Work from Florida Gulf Coast University. Richard is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Before his studies at Florida Gulf Coast University, he was in the rental business and felt that he was in his calling when he did volunteer work helping people in the US and abroad. After much thought and consulting with family and friends, Richard decided he wanted to work more hands on helping hurting people through counseling. His philosophy is ultimately to make a difference in the world by helping hurting people.
Richard Gonzalez believes we are all born with a purpose to make the world a better place. Sometimes, many of us while growing up knew exactly what we wanted to be or do. For others, it is a process of self-discovery. Richard Gonzalez helps individuals, groups, couples, families make sense, find harmony, peace, and purpose in their lives.
Some of his experience is working with different psychiatric conditions and substance abuse. Richard Gonzalez has experience with group counseling, marriage counseling, family counseling, individual counseling, and teaching psycho-educational groups.
