Practice Description: |
Robyn provides a positive, person-centered, and empathetic environment for both adults and children. She focuses on the strengths, needs, and goals of her patients, supporting them every step of the way. Robyn incorporates humor, empathy, and relaxation/mindfulness techniques throughout her sessions.
Robyn earned her Bachelor's degree in Forensic Psychology from Bay Path University in 2018 and her Master's degree from Bay Path University in 2021. She has a diverse range of experience, including working with children and families, providing trauma-focused therapy for both children and adults and treating substance abuse and mental health issues in outpatient and in-home settings. Currently, Robyn is pursuing a doctorate in health science with a concentration in advanced trauma counseling, which she will complete in the summer of 2025.
Robyn specializes in substance-related and addictive disorders, grief/loss/bereavement, self-injurious behaviors/self-harm, LGBTQIA issues, PTSD/acute stress, trauma, anxiety/panic/phobias, depression, and personality disorders.
She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness/meditation, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in her practice.
Starting therapy can be challenging, but Robyn will help you process your trauma and mitigate symptoms, guiding you on a healing journey to freedom. All you need to do is take the first step, and by working together, you can achieve the impossible.
Robyn is obsessed with anything Disney, Harry Potter, and arts and crafts. She can teach you anything you want to learn to help you succeed. Coloring books, anything blue, and chocolate are just a few of her favorite things—let’s talk about yours!
