I have over 7 years of experience in the mental health field, and I hold licenses in multiple states, including TX, WA, NY, IA, MD, and CO. I've worked as a behavioral health nurse at Jacobi Medical Center, Nix Hospital, Perimeter Behavioral Health, and as a consultant at King Haven Counseling Group. I am a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a wealth of experience in treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions. With my expertise in anxiety, depression, autism-related aggression, PTSD, insomnia, geriatrics, and various other mental health disorders, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized care to my patients.
I have demonstrated my proficiency in helping individuals struggling with anxiety by implementing evidence-based treatment modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and medication management. Through my empathetic approach, I create a safe and supportive environment for patients to address their concerns and develop effective coping strategies.
In my practice, I have successfully worked with individuals battling depression, tailoring treatment plans to meet their specific needs. My path to this specialized field began with a bachelor's degree from Western Governors' University, where I laid the foundation for my nursing career.
After completing my MSN program, I pursued certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). This involved passing the rigorous national certification exam, showcasing my proficiency in diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders.
