Practice Description: Our psyche has an innate drive toward wholeness and growth. Shelby Walkinshaw believes in the inner healing intelligence within each person – a profound force that guides us toward balance, integration, and fulfillment. Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but she is here to help you face them with courage and resilience. Together with Shelby, you can explore new perspectives, overcome obstacles, and cultivate the tools needed to build a fuller, more meaningful life. These challenges often lead to a newly found awareness. Shelby focuses on creating a safe, compassionate space to explore what truly supports meaningful and lasting changes in your life.

Shelby Walkinshaw holds a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling, from Naropa University. Years earlier, she also received a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Concordia University. Her Bachelor of Arts Degree, in Education, is from the University of Wyoming. Shelby is also a certified end-of-life practitioner and a certified life coach through the Life Coach Institute. She has also been trained in Ketamine-assisted Therapy from PRATI (Psychedelic Research and Training Institute).

Shelby started as a single mother of two, initially building a career as a teacher, gaining experience in teaching physical education and health, first grade, and reading interventions. Over time, she recognized that mental health was a crucial but often overlooked component of the educational model, inspiring her to transition into the field of counseling. Shelby’s healing journey has deepened her empathy and understanding, allowing her to support others with authenticity and compassion.
