Practice Description: |
My name is Dr. Stephanie Miodus, and I am a licensed psychologist with expertise in assessments for autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental needs. I take a client-centered approach to help children, adolescents, and adults understand their unique strengths, navigate challenges, and access needed support. My assessments use evidence-based tools such as the ADOS-2 to clarify diagnoses and provide detailed insights into social, emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and academic functioning. I also conduct evaluations for giftedness, selective mutism, private school admissions, and pre-adoption purposes.
Whether you are seeking testing to access academic accommodations, foster personal growth, have a better understanding of strengths and needs, or connect with services, I am here to support you and your family. Each assessment includes a detailed report and a one-on-one feedback session to ensure you have a clear and actionable plan for the next steps.
I also offer social skills groups, executive function coaching, and autism consultations for schools and forensic settings. Additionally, I provide child and adolescent therapy and coaching for parents, caregivers, and nannies. In addition to my experience adapting therapy approaches for autistic and other neurodivergent individuals, I also have specialized experience in working with individuals who have been adopted, as well as who have experienced trauma, including sexual assault or chronic illness, and I approach my work from a trauma-informed lens.
Schedule a free 15-minute consultation today to learn how my services can support your goals and help you or your child thrive.
