Practice Description: |
Have you found that talking about and having an intellectual understanding of your problems doesn't necessarily change anything? Do you wish you could break self-destructive patterns and cultivate more flexibility and balance in your life? If so, the tools I use with clients might be helpful to you.
Because we each embody our own life experiences, biology, culture, and social environment, I use personalized, up-to-date, collaborative mind-body approaches with clients who are experiencing such things as anxiety, depression, sleeping problems, academic/career/relationship stress, self-defeating behaviors, and difficulty recovering from traumatic events.
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindful awareness practices are among my interventions. I am committed to lifelong learning to sharpen my skills as a therapist.
