Hi, I'm Christina, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and the proud owner of Mountains Therapy situated in Montclair, New Jersey. Our mission is to Elevate Mental Health for adults, couples, families and teens 15 years old and up. https://www.mountainstherapy.com/
In my role as a psychotherapist, I am dedicated to assisting individuals in overcoming the obstacles that life throws their way and unlocking their full potential. Having gained extensive experience working with various communities, such as individuals of diverse ethnic backgrounds, the LGBTQIA+ community, those involved in foster care and adoption, as well as Military/Veteran communities, I have operated in educational settings, on Military Bases, and within private practice.
My therapeutic approach incorporates techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution and Trauma-Focused methods, as well as the Gottman Method. Committed to continuous professional growth, I stay abreast of the latest research and evidence-based practices in psychology, with the aim of offering top-tier mental health care and support throughout your therapeutic journey.
Embracing a person-centered approach, I customize plans to align with your unique needs and objectives. I cultivate a safe, open-minded, and non-judgmental environment where you can freely explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we will collaboratively tackle the underlying causes of your concerns and develop healthy coping skills to pave the way for a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.
