We recommend discussing the possibility of considering medication during a therapy appointment with a counselor. Research shows that the most effective treatment for many mental health conditions is a combination of medication and psychotherapy.

Communication with your Primary Care Physician
At AllHealth Network, we believe in caring for the whole person by collaborating with your medical providers. We recommend you let your primary care doctor know you are seeking care with us and encourage you to have a conversation with your primary care doctor about medication if you and your therapist feel it will help your treatment. In many cases, a client’s primary care doctor can prescribe medication for mental health conditions such as anxiety or depression.

When more in-depth expertise is needed, AllHealth Network employs more than 25 talented psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners who will listen to you to determine medication options. Our prescribers conduct medication management appointments at regular intervals to evaluate your response to medications and adjust as needed.
