Practice Description: |
We all encounter challenges in our lives, but we were not meant to overcome them alone. Lee Lester counts it as a great honor to walk alongside his clients as they face trials and opportunities for growth. He balances a direct, concise approach along with humor and authenticity. Lee utilizes Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), Person-Centered, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches. Lee uses techniques such as mindfulness and emotional regulation to provide clients with helpful coping skills. He promotes growth and healing through guiding clients in meaningful conversations of self-discovery and acceptance.
Most clients feel a sense of hope and relief within the first few sessions. Your first session is complementary so that you can learn about counseling and find out whether it is right for your situation. Lee specializes in helping adults, adolescents, and couples. Lee has extensive multicultural experience from teaching English in China and Jordan, where he studied Mandarin and Levantine Arabic. While in Jordan, Lee worked directly with Syrian refugees and gained experience working with the effects of trauma on mental health. Additionally, he has previously worked in the business and financial sectors. Through Lee’s diverse life and work experiences, he has developed a unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
