Nathalie is a passionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who wholeheartedly believes in guiding individuals towards living a more meaningful life. Her mission is to empower her clients with the tangible tools and strategies to deal with life’s challenges more effectively. Nathalie holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Guelph, a Master of Science in Neuroscience from Western University, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Drawing from her background in neuroscience, Nathalie understands the complex interplay between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. She believes in a strength-based and integrative approach to therapy, drawing from a wide range of therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), tailoring the interventions based on the specific needs of each unique client. Nathalie supports clients dealing with a variety of different challenges including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, body image, burnout and work/academic issues, among others. By combining her expertise in psychology and neuroscience, paired with a thorough understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, Nathalie crafts holistic and individualized treatment plans that address the whole, unique individual.
